For just the third time since 1906, golf is returning to the Olympics this year.
The men’s tournament, which will see 60 golfers hit the links, begins today, August 1. The top 15 golfers in the world automatically qualified by their ranking, which meant Team USA was able to bring the maximum of four golfers to the tournament as they have four players in the top 15.
Among the four is Xander Schauffele, coming off a very recent win at the British Open and defending his gold medal from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Collin Morikawa joins him as the only experienced Olympian on the USA squad.
Below, we outlined everything you need to know to tune in to the men’s golf tournament at the 2024 Olympics.
Though most of the golf events begin super early in Eastern time, the event goes on into the afternoon, so you’ll be able to catch some of it live. With Peacock, you can watch replays of the entire event on-demand as well.
Thursday, August 1
Friday, August 2
Saturday, August 3
Sunday, August 4
If you want to watch the men’s golf tournament for free, consider stacking these two live TV streaming services that offer free trials and carry USA, Golf Channel, and NBC. If you stagger your subscriptions, you’ll get eight days total free.
The official streaming home of the 2024 Olympics is Peacock, the streaming service from NBCUniversal. This year, Peacock is broadcasting over 5,000 hours of live coverage, which includes all 329 medal events and every single event leading up to them, plus Gold Zone, Peacock’s Olympic answer to NFL RedZone.
Peacock costs $7.99/month with ads and $13.99/month without ads, and since the Olympics wrap up on August 11, you’ll only need one month to watch the entire 2024 Games.
Team USA will be represented by four golfers in the men’s event. Based on their world ranking, they are the top four Americans in the entire sport.
The Olympic golf tournament is being played at Le Golf National in Guyancourt, about 12 miles outside of Paris.
The closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics will take place on August 11 at 3:00 p.m. ET, but the men’s golf event ends on August 4.
