As of 07/05/2023, nurse aides and applicants for nurse aide certification will apply via Texas Unified License Information Portal (TULIP), a web-based licensure system designed specifically for licensed long-term care providers and licensees. TULIP will allow Nurse Aides to complete all certification and application functions online. For assistance with using TULIP, see user guide link on the TULIP landing page.

Once your Training Program Director has uploaded your training completion information and you’ve received an email from Prometric with your username and password, you can use the link below to access the TX Nurse Aide portal to complete your application, pay associated fees (credit/debit or voucher), and schedule/reschedule your testing appointment.
Prometric provides a variety of accommodations to candidates that qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Select your requested accommodations in the TX Nurse Aide Portal and email the required documentation to HHSC at regulatory_natcep@hhs.texas.gov . HHSC will review/approve.
